Walk to School
At Chepping View Primary Academy, we seek to actively promote a healthy lifestyle and healthy world. One of the ways we do this is by encouraging the pupils to walk, cycle or scooter to school.
By promoting these methods of travel, we will make the local area a safer place for the community, reduce the impact on our local environment and improve the fitness of our pupils.
Chepping View takes part in the Living Streets Walk to School Initiative.
The children record how they come to school daily, and are rewarded with a different badge every month if they have made a good attempt to walk to the academy.
The map shows a 5-minute walking bubble. If pupils need to come by car for some of the distance to school, we encourage cars to park outside of this bubble and walk the remainder of the distance to the academy.
